MAY 22, 200 – VOL. 2
-I AM TO DELIVER A SPEECH LOCALLY AND ON MY MIND, NEXT WOULD BE NATIONALLY. I wear a turban and would probably would ask the crowd- “What’s with the turban?” I wear sneakers and try another more decent pair of shoes. Someone is aiding me (?). I walk towards the direction of the site where I am to speak. The street is barely occupied- trickles of people on one side to another. There’s a group of foreigners seated on the street. Their blonde hairs shine in broad daylight. I ask them to come forward where the trees (their branches) provide shade/ some sort of shed. The first instruction makes them move toward the shed. The second instruction makes them scatter toward another direction. I search for them. They’re gone. Suddenly, I am on ___ Street passing by ____ Shrine (?) where there are so many people converging. There are well known-rich dead people brought there for others to see (?). It seems these dead people are being displayed/ brought to different parts of the archipelago and then here. I see other dead people hanged/ or hung on the wall of the Shrine. Several corpses are outside with others inside. They are well-dressed (suits). “LIM” ....... (?)- I seem to overhear in a squeaky voice. Funeraria Lim _______ or the dead named “LIM” (?). Eric comes and cries in “sympathy”. He blurts out his usual apathetic expression-“Sana naman ako. Bakit kayo lang”. I aver “You don’t know what being dead is like/ feels..”. EARLIER, IT IS GIVEN MY SPEECH (PREACHINGS) WILL NOT BE WELCOMED/ LOVED. Jesse L. and his group are among the crowd.

JULY 10, 2006 – VOL. 31
-         Hazy – A squarish? / rectangular? platform hanging on something – very high – It is loaded with people – as it is to haul these people down to the ground – ALFREDO LIM supervises this transport from way up high down to the ground




MARCH 1, 2007 – VOL. 32
-         Hazy – Start and details I forget – Kris Aquino. goes to ________– taping in looban – She stays in Nanay’s house. I see the covered area (front door) is done with some decorations of sort – I see a cage right side of the door – as if it’s my dog’s cage? – I pull and position it a bit far from the door – There’s another stuff beside / behind the cage earlier. I interchange the cage and this stuff’s position – I think I see a small pull-table / wine cart / table intended for Kris – It’s night time – I go to a nearby barber shop – try to locate one that’s still open – Other barber shops / shops are already closed. I find one – with several barbers still cutting hair – The one I choose is in the innermost part of the shop – He’s a  strange gay guy who harasses me later – I say he should give me a 0-range (in the razor) and he does otherwise. He says threateningly that I should have hair / no hair at all (shave). A bit scared of him, I do not budge – A scene where a stout gay guy comes to my rescue – comes near me / flirts with me – since he likes me, he pays the deranged guy barber P100 pesos provided he does what I ask him to do – Still he doesn’t. This time, I get pissed at him and threaten that I would punch / hit his face with a big punch – I grab his scissors – almost aim it at him – Another scene where I talk to another barber who sympathizes with me along with other barbers – but he’s too sleepy to give me the haircut I need – Earlier, I’d touch my hair in front – short – and at the back – long – I show this to the barbers – Back home now – still carrying the scissors with me – Am cutting some dry leaves – long dry leaves – from pots? – Doing this so our house would look clean and tidy – for Kris. I check out the kitchen area – A table is set in the middle of the kitchen for Kris – After being away for a long time, for my haircut, I find out Kris doesn’t take her dinner, yet. I ask Nanay where Kris is. She points downstairs – at the covered area – Kris and her girl alalay (as if Salve? our former beautician – not given as Salve) – She attends to Kris’ every need. Nanay says she’s borrowing a DVD movie – I forget the title of the movie. Jeremy is present in one scene where he requests through Nanay (holding some tickets for a movie?) that ______ and he meet for that affair / movie – I ignore such a request. Jeremy takes the tickets from Nanay and shows them to me – A scene I need to take a bath in Nanay’s CR – nicely fixed / decorated CR – with candles in front of the bowl – A small table with 2 small candles / gas / oil lamps. The CR space now gets a little narrow – I wonder how I could bathe myself – I guess it can still be done. Am seated on the bowl now – staring at the 2 candles – Candle on the right is bigger than the other – Right candle flickers – goes pfft – then, lights up again – AS IF THE 2 CANDLES “COMMUNICATE” – I pull out the “mitsa” of the left candle – The gas / oil? dripping on one end of the mitsa, drops to the mitsa of the right candle as I position it on top of the latter – I get frightened that what I do will cause this gas-sustained flames / candles to burst / explode, but they don’t – But when the situation changes and it’s Kris? who is seated on the bowl, where I am, the 2 candles say, “BURN!” /OR IS IT GMA? Unsure of GMATHE WHOLE CR WILL BURN / EXPLODE WITH KRIS? A scene with Kris in another CR – like cubicles / 2-3 cubicles – I talk to her while she’s in one of the cubicles (not mall-like CR cubicles but ordinary cubicles in provinces. I ASK ABOUT JAMES YAPIF SHE WILL EVENTUALLY LEAVE HIMSHE CONFIRMS IT – THAT SHE WILL LEAVE HIM – A scene in my bedroom? where I plan to admit, if asked, that _______ is my daughter (to Kris). I get a V-neck body hugging T-shirt (white) that I’d wear – that’s why I need to have a 0-gauge shave – to look a bit younger – with the white T-shirt. Earlier, I ask Jeremy where Kris holds her taping – looban or bahay ni _______? (___________).

NOVEMBER 13, 2008 VOL. 37
 -    Hazy- Start and some details I forget. Talking to Claudine Barreto- I learn from her that she has a boyfriend now-her first boyfriend. I suggest to her to go on a date. Next scene, I see her bf hold her hand (his back to me, I don’t see his face) and off they go on their date along with two to three of her girlfriends. Blur- Cathy comes to mind as if she’s one of Claudine’s girlfriends (walking with her). I go to an area (covered?) where I see several long tables and a lot of people (young?) seated at them. There’s going to be Talakay. The young guy to my right who’s writing/ drawing something wears a light striped shirt. I am to call his attention about it but seeing the white shirt he holds in his hands, I don’t. Everybody wears white. Some people may ask why I am wearing a RED T-SHIRT- but as I stand up to go to the CR, I notice I, too, wear white. Earlier, sitting at my table beside this guy in striped shirt, I regret sending Claudine on her first date. Her absence in today’s Talakay would greatly be felt. To my surprise, Claudine calls my attention. She’s seated at a table near mine. I ask her how it happens-she’s supposed to be on a date. She says- “Kahapon yun!”- I couldn’t believe it happens yesterday.-What matters is she’s present in today’s Talakay. I stand up for the CR. Walking out of that area, I see a bigger open area with lots of people. I wonder if they are here for the Talakay or just incidentally/ accidentally – There’s a group of people kneeling (with heads bowed down) before a small altar (with Jesus and Mary’s? images). They are Muslims (?). Passing by an area where one gets coffee and hot water from- Nanay would be there to get some hot water. A woman arrives grabbing a container (thermos?) and getting all its content, pouring it all into her big cup (?)/ bowl. I carry a big cup?/ container as well, pouring some hot water into Nanay’s cup. Then, I get some coffee using a spoon from a Nescafe (?) –type bottle- getting only a small amount of coffee. Other areas that my eyes can see, there are lots of people. There must be an occasion/ festivity of sort- timed at our Talakay day intentionally. A scene where there’s this Thai (?) – looking woman soaring up in the sky-gliding and then zooming down the ground. She’s sort of ganged up by several Thai-looking women in costumes-wearing white? Shirts, red strips of cloth tied on their foreheads, biceps and arms? Men and women wearing the same costume. I forget what this flying woman says to those who confront her. ALL THESE COSTUMED MEN AND WOMEN DANCE IN SYNC- ALL TOGETHER, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. I SEE A MAN HOLDING THIS TALL POLE WITH STRIPS OF RED CLOTH TIED TO IT. The area/ street looks ordinary- a regular street compared to the Philippines on a very casual day. Is this scene being played on a big screen? IS IT IN THAILAND (?)- as the participants have chinky eyes?- unsure if it’s just a movie scene (?). Reaching the CR, I meet this guy that I meet earlier. According to him, we’re related through Tita Marina G. It is that he sees me the night before with three guys- am with three guys/ gimmicks. A scene before reaching the CR, he sort of asks if I already change my ways as regards these three gimmick guys. Walking past him and then back to him, I declare- “I HAVEN’T CHANGED- HAVE YOU?” He says- “NO”. I continue- “BUT THERE’S A COMMAND/ OR HE HAS A COMMAND NOW” – something like this. I cut my statement by saying –“I AM NOT SUBJECT TO YOUR SCRUTINY”or “I WILL NOT CHANGE FOR YOUR BENEFIT/ FOR YOUR PRYING EYES!” – something like this. And I walk towards the CR. He still follows me- unsure if he’s the one who hands me a bottle of perfume- “ARAMIS” (my old perfume). I put it in my back pocket (?) as I get to the cubicle. There’s this middle-aged gay/ old gay? who sort of picks my back pocket? while I am in the cubicle peeing. Meanwhile, my supposed relative guy positions himself on the right side of the CR. I ask him- “How are we related?” Blur- Getting out of the CR, I realize my Aramis perfume is lost/ stolen from me. I go back to the CR, perhaps to confront the old gay guy who pursues me earlier but I find my Aramis on the right side pasimano of the cubicle that I use earlier. I now try to get back to the Talakay table- only to realize I am wearing a long sleeve shirt, nice pants and shoes. I need to wear white. I go back to the CR. Now out wearing a white sando, I walk back to the area where I sit earlier (with Claudine and others). I can’t locate it. First, I go past it- I walk back but still can’t locate it. It’s a big area- It would seem that I walk on a busy street now-not too busy though.


MAY 12, 2009 – VOL. 38
-          Hazy – Unfamiliar place / house? where I am sitting on my knees in front of a box checking out its contents while singing, “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” – singing it quite well – Am singing the 1st 4 lines of the song when I hear 2 people talking somewhere – One of them says I have a good singing voice – From the box I see (holding it) a fan-like object – made of soft crystal-like (shining) stuff – It’s indeed a fan? I put it back. Lift another object – A small glass bottle – Could be a décor? I put it down as well (inside the box). I see about 2-3 pairs of old pants – pastel colors – though faded and over-sized slacks – Blur – Suddenly, am reading this card? / letter (that comes from the box) – I check out the right upper part of the card for some date – Don’t find any, except for some numbers written that seem like a new set of numbers – Cell phone? numbers? Or so I think – And it seems it’s my own handwriting? (the numbers) – Likely, the letter is addressed to a GIRLFRIEND? Past the middle part, letter says, “KATABI KO ANG PAMBANSANG BAYANI (?) …” (bus ride?) – I guess it’s indeed a card? – A big one – Right leaf of the card (back?) the letter says something about A NEW LEADERSHIP? / A NEW REPUBLIC? / NEW GOVERNMENT? Something like this – WHICH DOESN’T LAST LONG? Unsure of the last line?

JULY 8, 2010 VOL.40
-      Hazy- start and some details I forget- JUST THE SCENE WHERE I AND SOME OTHERS ARE CAPTIVES OF THIS CHINESE MAN (stout, ruthless). A scene where some of the captives are shown in a room- as we, hopelessly, talk about our ordeal on the hand of this ruthless Chinese. One captive/ prisoner is Miriam D. Santiago who advises calm and sobriety in a situation like ours. One or two others in panic? –slightly shown. Next frame of Miriam, she seated on a wheelchair looking pale and emaciated (thinner than her usual body frame. Next scene, someone says Nick I coming-as Miriam demands?/ requires of Nick to sex her up. It is as if it’s part of the Chinese man’s torture tactics/ psy-war. Nick drags Miriam and shoves her under this structure in front of us, ready to sex Miriam up. Lally (Nick’s wife) suddenly appears- as if to run away from the scene as she says she couldn’t stand it- the sight of her husband making sex with Miriam. Nick grabs Lally by the arm and pulls her back to where we are. Nick pushes her next to me (seated). I think Nick is irate at the idea of Lally leaving the scene. He says- “Diyan ka!”-unsure of this. Lally can only seat beside me crying, draws herself close to me. Just as Nick is unbuttoning his pants, Miriam, lying on her back on the floor under this structure (?), swiftly rises up, throws herself in between two metal parts of this structure that eventually cuts her body in half. She’s dead on the spot. Another scene, the remaining captives/prisoners are lined-up outside. We’re being interrogated by this stout, bespectacled Chinese man. Situation is tense and frightening. I forget the Chinese man’s declarations. All I know is all our lives are in the hands of this Chinese man/men. I see something suspended in the air, slightly above us. Suddenly, four bag-like stuffs/ containers fall from the sky- its fabric is silver in color-silky?,plastic –like linen. To fit inside, one is to be in a sitting position. It is given-this is the second time this structure suspended in the air sends us something like this-but the Chinese men seize them from us. The stuffs ,first and second, are transit system- a way for us to escape this place/camp? (not given). Hurriedly, all four of us board our respective “bags” of sort while the Chinese man just tortures us by allowing us to get inside these “bags”. I zip my “bag”. Seeing a little more space/ hole opening on the zipper, I take out my hand and zip it tightly outside? (how?, I don’t know). I think I plead to this Chinese man not to kill us. He would only smile viciously-Rightfully so, as our “bags” take off carrying all four of us, he/ they start shooting at us/ at our “bags” I anticipate the bullets to penetrate through these “bags” and our bodies- but the next scene shows Kris Aquino rejoicing-Our “bags” are bullet proof. She checks on her? baby in the other “bag”- the baby responds. Kris, the baby, myself and another (?)- all four passengers of the “bags” are safe. As our “bag” lift up/take off, I can still (picture in my mind?) see the structure still suspended in the air-as if watching the next scene that will follow. IT’S AN ALIEN SPACESHIP/UFO- THAT SENDS US THESE “BAGS/TRANSIT SYSTEM” FOR OUR ESCAPE-TWICE. THE UFO SPACESHIP DOESN’T LOOK LIKE THE USUAL-TYPE (SAUCER –SHAPE) OR SO I THINK. IT LOOKS MORE LIKE THE STUFF/ TRANSIT SYSTEM/ “BAGS”SENT TO US- ONLY, IT’S BIGGER.  A CONSCIOUS THOUGHT- CHINESE MEN OF THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT? Not given. I don’t know who the fourth passenger is- Nick? Unsure of this.

JULY 14, 2010 VOL. 40
-     Blur- I see George Bush (son? father?) standing. I completely forget what   is said in the dream-unsure if Bush Sr. or Jr.?



-      Hazy- start and some details I forget in an unfamiliar? room/classroom? Where Nolan and I are taken an exam while our professor, Miriam D. Santiago looks on (seated to my left)- unsure we’re seated at a table-with Miriam at the kabisera? The question is written on what seems like a small board?-single question about computers- There are four choices to choose from. I’d think of it as a multiple choice question. I do not know what to answer- but could just make a guess. I think of asking Nolan what the question (type) it is. I ask if it’s an essay-kind of thing. He says- “Yes”. I ask again if we’ll make an essay kind of answer for all four choices. He says- “Yes” again. At this point, I talk to Miriam herself regarding the question. I tell her it would be best to ask/ inform us this question a day before (such as the basic parts of the computer-four basic parts). She says-“Six parts”-and I could prepare for it. That as an aging man (old people), we’re not as enthusiastic with computers as the young folks. As Nolan is about to leave the room, I tell Miriam that I have a brand new PC in my room (so Nolan would hear). Yet still, I am just not into it- what with all my sicknesses which I enumerate to her-high-blood, allergy, prostate problem. I forget others. Just then, Miriam transfers to a new chair-near her former seat. I turn the question around-“AT YOUR AGE RIGHT NOW, WHAT HAVE YOU REALIZED IN YOUR LIFE?” Somehow I know I touch her with this question-as it seems I do talk about this stuff-things I realize in life? And now, it is her turn to do so. Earlier, it seems Nolan is done answering the question/ or busy answering it.



JANUARY 26, 2010  -VOL.39
 -   Hazy- start and some details I forget- As if written on a newspaper?- 100PLUS (129?) PEOPLE DIE. LRT? MISHAP- or this shocking news told by Alma or Audrey? who are with me at a small table. I think I ask them why- I REMEMBER HEARING ABOUT A WEAK SPOT WHERE ONE OF THE MRT PILLARS/ POSTS IS ERECTED ON. A scene where Audrey tells me about her teeth- that she has them done in a dental clinic located beside/ near the spot where there’s a woman selling coconut/ buko (shortcut to ____ ). I ask her or she tells me that’s where she has her brace installed/made. It must be cheaper in that clinic. A scene where Audrey inserts her finger inside her mouth to show her teeth done in that clinic. We’re all seated at a table. Earlier, I feel thankful I don’t take the train that day-unsure if it’s the LRT or MRT?

OCTOBER 12, 2010 -VOL. 41

-     Hazy- start and some details I forget. Walking on _____ Street (Location: Laguna)- perhaps on my way home (Nanay’s house direction). Now, passing in front of Cine ______ - lots of people outside – some occasion- tables and chairs outside- people dining. Some banners hanging above the street/ in front of the theatre (old set-up of Cine _____). Now, I’m passing by another theatre, Cine _____. It, too, has huge banners hanging above the street-maybe to feat Cine _____’s festivity of sort/ or celebration. Cine ______ (the second theatre) is showing a foreign movie. To bolster its feature movie and to make it appear pompous and festive, it comes up with some banners, huge, like those of theatre no.1. IMMEDIATELY PAST THE SECOND THEATRE, IS AN APPROACHING FUNERAL/ FUNERAL MARCH THAT SUDDENLY STOPS BECAUSE SOMETHING EXPLODES- unsure of this- OR BURNS. Left side of the street, there’s this tall electrical?/ street light stand? Could be a store’s stall metal stand- I suspect the problem arises from that metal stand but not sure about it. RIGHT BEHIND THIS TALL STAND, THERE’S FIRE- A HOUSE?/ STRUCTURE BURNS. Earlier, I pass by another structure burning- right side part of the street. Blur- ON MY MIND, 2? OR 3? STRUCTURES ABLAZE.  Back to the funeral march- There’s a lady who sort of cracks a joke- something like- “Yung patay nabuhay at yung buhay? namatay!” – as if to mean that one of the mourners or one who’s with them in the funeral march is sick and dying and dies right there in the march? Something like this. I go on walking. I see on one of their vehicles a sign board where the word VIETNAM/VIETNAMESE (?) is written- a group/ an association with word VIETNAM/VIETNAMESE being part of that group.

OCTOBER 29, 2010 - VOL. 41

-    Hazy- start and some details I forget- Unfamiliar place- atop a building? where I am-There’s this odd? set-up. There’s water off the building top and  little boat like stuffs where guests ride with all their baon/ food and drinks on the side of these boat-like stuffs or floaters in front of the building top. It seems like a river/ sea? pond-like set-up? I see a young father with his child on board one of these floaters (?)- An old woman would see some round-like food stuff for sale in one of the floaters and she would order for some-as she reaches for one of these foodstuffs from the floater. She’s seated near the edge of the building-their backs to the pond-like set-up. Next scene, there would be Maricar Reyes in a bit of a rush-looking for someone- That someone is Christopher De Leon. It is given something happens to Christopher De Leon-something not good-accident? He dies? (Not clearly given in the dream)- That he turns into or becomes a different man. HE BECOMES ME- and the man that Maricar is looking for is me (I’m Christopher De Leon in EAB’s body). At the stairs, we meet and she doesn’t recognize me because I don’t look like the Christopher De Leon she knows or whose face she’s familiar with. We both are out of the building now. A scene where for the second time she goes back to the top of the building wearing a different dress. I see her again and vice versa. She notices me looking at her. Now out of the building, I see a stand selling halaya (ube cake), P15 pesos per slice. I order half of the cake-like prepared halaya (rectangular shape) which costs me much less as the old woman vendor says “Buena mano?”- though I see the other halaya cake is already cut in half (other half already sold?).  She puts it in a white plastic bag (my order)- It looks delicious and so I order for another- one third of the cake. These smaller cut costs me a little more. With the 100 I give the woman, she gives me two 5-peso coins for change. She puts my second order in another white plastic bag. Now across the street, I mistakenly think the woman vendor calls me. I walk back to her stand only to realize she’s calling another man. She tells this man about some guests looking for a place? to stay? Next scene, I see Maricar Reyes with her child in tow- both of them wearing a black outfit-leathery-type- unsure if I see them earlier go up the building- or I meet them by the stairs-her second time to go up the building. She goes to a store across the street fronting the building, asks some questions from the store? I am just waiting for them to pass my way as I remain standing on the side of the street carrying my two white plastic bags. Now, they’re in front of me. Maricar glances at me with an impish smile. She’d sway her hips a little more as she walks past me. The little boy about 6-10yrs old would somehow do the same or would be conscious with the way he walks. Nice leather-like black outfit this boy wears. Before they arrive, I would fix up my hat, pull it down toward my face to partly cover my shaved head or my age? The boy turns his head around, looks at me as per Maricar’s instructions? Somehow, though very faintly, she resembles Sandy Andolong? It could just be a conscious thought. Earlier, I would go back to the woman vendor and make an advance order of halaya for Christmas as perhaps Gam would like the taste of it.  


DECEMBER 14, 2010 - VOL. 40
-     Hazy -Start and some details I forget. Night time - where Ody comes to my house, unfamiliar?- though it seems like the rest house? Unsure of this - In one scene, it seems like a modest house. I know LA is with him - He stays at the gate. Another scene there would be Nick with them. Faintly, i feel Ray 's presence. I go up to the house to get some money for Ody. Cant remember how much i give him. I'd go up again (as if the rest house set up?) to get some more money for LA who's now with Ody. In this scene, it seems  it's just Ody and LA who are present? I think I give LA 100? or 150 pesos? or 150 pesos to Ody? LA is playing with a basketball sort of dribbling it -  I ask him if it is not yet "sweldo" after giving him money. He, then, takes out money from his pocket and hands it to me - a 500 bill and a 100 bill. Just then, I see Nick who says something softly (parinig)- if I could give him some money as well- or partake of LA's money. I give him 100 pesos . It seems we're all in front of the house - I, on the stairs- WHEN A BIG THUD? OR JOLT SHOCKS US - ONE MIGHTY EARTHQUAKE JOLT THAT THREATENS ALL OF US. I say a silent prayer to God to not let it happen as we wait for the next jolt that'll shake the earth continuously, fiercely- We decide to go out of the house/ property. I remember some slippers - my slippers. When we go out, I get to wear another person's slippers- Ody's? Ody and I- though it seems the pair coming from him still isn't my own slippers? Outside, open ground - some dirty water/ rain? water on the ground. A young? woman neighbor comes out of their house alone but goes back saying to her housemates "Nalilito or nahihilo ako" (Nalilito). Now, I'd hear Jaymee's voice talking about a certain hotel - Manila Peninsula?- Ray responds to what she says- I forget what they're talking about. Ody and the rest? are to go night swimming. Unsure where I inform them this- that "Tomorrow is my birthday"-- as if some sort of warning? as to what might happen?- that this mighty jolt is a prelude to something?- unsure of this. Do i mention my birthday as a matter of fact? or warning after that mighty jolt where we await for the next wave of jolts after the first one. A second jolt happens- Unsure if we're inside the house or outside now- I pray again for God not to let it happen- this mighty earthquake that may cause a lot of destruction. Earlier, during the first jolt, I feel the house squeak as the earth shakes- that's why we decide to go out of the house.
